Let There be ... More.
So, this game was born out of my first Game Jam entry. I learned a lot in the seven days I had to complete it. I learned that I should have had it play tested earlier. I learned that play instructions and objectives need to be much clearer than I thought, and I learned that completely redoing the artwork in the middle of a game jam project isn't perhaps the best us of limited time.
I'd to really finish what I started here though, so I'm announcing my intention to develop this concept into a more complete and playable game.
My plans for this project include:
- Faster and more fluid navigation controls.
- Ordering the cubes into randomly assigned or procedurally generated "dungeon" style layouts.
- A two player option, both competitive and co-operative.
- SFX
- "Randomly" generated music tracks
- A tutorial mode for first time play
- joystick integration
If you're reading this and think it's at all worth it and perhaps have an idea or two of your own, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Be awesome,
Jayhawk
